    Facilitator: Karla Hill, MSHRM, SHRM-SCP, MBTI

    Karla Hill is a seasoned HR Executive, Career Coach and Business Owner committed to equipping individuals accomplish their economic empowerment goals. She is Founder of GPS Career and Business Strategies. The firm  helps business owners and individuals transform their organizations and careers via Human Resources tools and strategies.  Karla graduated from the City University of New York's (CUNY) Baruch College for her bachelor's degree and obtained a master's degree from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. She holds senior certifications from the Society of Human Resources Management and the Human Resources Certification Institute and is certified to administer the Myers Briggs Personality and Career Direct assessment tools. She has been employed with the City of Philadelphia for the past 34 years in progressively responsible leadership roles. She currently serves as the Deputy Director for Human Resources for the City of Philadelphia's Department of Planning and Development. Ms. Hill  is a first generation New Yorker, currently residing in the northwest section of Philadelphia, In her free time Karla enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and mother.

    Tony Colson, Panel Moderator, Executive Technology Leader Specialized in Biotech, Healthcare & Financial Services


    Tony comes to us with over 30 years of experience from a variety of industries such as: pharmaceutical & biotech research, healthcare, finance and aerospace.  With his degree in Bioengineering from UCSD he worked with early AI and minimization algorithms in Computational Chemistry at Pfizer to write software to perform chemistry to design drugs.  He has been published multiple times in scientific journals for this work.  He has also worked at Scripps Health (a major hospital chain in San Diego) in Epidemiology, Infection Control and Supply Chain to bring antiquated processes into the Digital Age by integrating technologies, creating data-driven applications and software processes and managing and analyzing data for business intelligence.  Tony went on to further lead the technological roadmap at RIVO Holdings, a lending company in San Diego, managing offshore contributors and building teams in house with a DevOps culture to minimize lending risk and maximize profits.  Tony is a "people person" who uses technology to help people and advance the human condition.  He sees VP Circle as a venue to engage movers and shakers and people of influence to share knowledge so that they can go back to their companies and create even more value and impact for society.

    Asim Williams, Head of Technology Leader Coach @ Google


    Howard University Alum and former Google Engineer: Asim Williams is a Technology Leader, Explorer, Humanitarian and Musician from Detroit. His mission is to be a part of teams that invent technology and music, through entrepreneurship, that universally improve fundamental aspects of life.
    As a founding educator of the Michigan Central Innovation District, he cultivates Computer Science and Technology Leadership excellence within Detroit high school students. As a Technology Entrepreneur he consults with local organizations to help them use emerging technologies to create a resilient Detroit where its residents can thrive and prosper.

    Ganesh Ariyur, Vice President Enterprise Applications & Transformation, Gainwell Technologies


    Ganesh is an executive technology leader with 20+ years of experience delivering superior business outcomes through transformational leadership and technological innovation. I lead global teams to execute transformative business, finance, ERP, enterprise technology, and digital strategies in complex environments, by leveraging advanced finance acumen. He helps organizations through both turnarounds and transformations, fostering collaboration & innovation, optimizing technology to scale growth, productivity and profitability. He is currently the Head of Enterprise Applications & Transformation at Gainwell Technologies. 


    Pete Petrocelli, Vice President of Technology, Ashley Northeast



    Pete is a dynamic leader in technology optimization and digital transformation, known for his proactive planning and effective execution. He has 20+ years of extensive expertise in enterprise-level data solutions, project management, systems integration, and business intelligence, he has successfully implemented innovative technology solutions in the retail space (primarily T-Mobile) to enhance customer experiences and streamline operations. While being passionate about developing people and teams, Pete has a proven history of driving business results through innovation.

    In his current role as the VP of Technology at Ashley Northeast, Pete has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision.  Pete's expertise spans digital transformation, IT infrastructure and operations, systems/applications, software development and engineering, BI/data analytics, machine learning, and generative AI!  His commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive business success has positioned him as a key player within his organization.
